Ice Box Bakery Natural Food Packaging

Ice Box Bakery hired DFM to revamp their already existing packaging for an all-natural line of pre-made cookie dough. Ice Box Bakery had a sense for what they wanted to convey through their packaging: nostalgic memories of baking at home, fresh cookies from the oven after school with a tall glass of milk, and baking as a family activity that is fun for both children and adults. DFM isolated these concepts and created 7 unique patterns and color schemes for each flavor that harkened back to a time of active kitchens. The same vintage mood and color scheme was carried over for the company’s presence for the Natural Products Expo West Show in Anaheim, California shortly after the packaging was finished. As a versatile and multi disciplined company, DFM hand sewed a table cloth cover with an embroidered logo, as well as photographed display photos of baked cookies coming out of the oven. Ice Box Bakery products are available in Whole Foods Stores nationally, and are actively breaking into other specialty markets.
