Searching For a Graphic Design Intern

{ Tuesday, October 25, 2011 }

Drawing From Memory is searching for a graphic design intern!

We're currently looking for a talented young designer (current student or recent graduate) with a passion for technology. We're looking for someone with strong graphic skills and some knowledge of HTML, CSS, and how to design for a digital space.

Maybe you're currently a student at Art Center or The Art Institute. Or maybe you're a recent graduate still searching for the right opportunity. You live relatively near downtown LA, probably in Hollywood, Silver Lake, Los Feliz, or even Pasadena. Perhaps you've worked at an Apple store as one of the amazing geniuses that solves our most frustrating technological problems. Most likely you love all things art and design, and can often be found at art galleries, museums, and exhibit openings.

What we're NOT looking for is an intern that makes copies and gets us coffee. We're looking for a creative mind with a strong portfolio that likes to work hard and have fun while doing it. We offer a whole lot of hands-on experience with real clients and projects, as well as a learning environment that will foster your creative potential.

As an intern, we are looking for someone to come in 15-20 hours a week for a starting period of 90 days.  Bonus points for availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Beyond the 90 day internship, there is opportunity to become a paid part of our team for the right person.

Check out our portfolio and blog to see what we've been up to lately. Look like fun? Contact us ASAP. We're looking to get our intern up and running with us before Thanksgiving. Send us a portfolio or links to your work, a resume, and a cover letter explaining why this is the internship for you (jen@drawingfrommemory.com).

NUA Golf Website Launch

{ Thursday, October 20, 2011 }

Drawing From Memory announces the launch of the website for American luxury golf destination club NUA Golf!

NUA Golf is an exclusive club for affluent golfers that bridges the gap between American and Asian cultures in the US golf community. Designed for Korean executives to experience the excitement and legacy of The Master's tournament, Pebble Beach, or Palm Springs, NUA Golf provides luxury accommodations and language support for exclusive club members traveling to the US from Korea on the golf destination trip of a lifetime.

Drawing From Memory was hired to create a company logo, a beautiful, classic informational package and invitation to the club, and a website that potential club members could go to for more information about the club and how to become a part of it. Given direction to focus on the unique bi-lingual aspect of NUA Golf, DFM created two versions of both the package and website: one in English, and one in Korean. Tackling its first bi-lingual project to date, DFM has created stunning materials that not only reflect upon Korean culture, but also capture the luxury and exclusivity that NUA Golf offers its members.

The NUA Golf website can be seen at: www.nuagolf.com
