Farm to Table

{ Monday, February 27, 2012 }

It's starting to feel like spring in Los Angeles, and we're loving the all natural, farm to table trend in food photography and restaurants.

Gentl & Hyers for Anthropologie

{ Thursday, February 23, 2012 }

Gentl & Hyers, a group of photographers based out of NYC (we're particular fans of their amazingly mouth-watering, natural food photography), just posted these photos from a recent shoot for Anthropologie. We love the mirror effect and the perfectly imperfect hand-written product descriptions. Click here to see more and visit their Facebook page.

Aged Copper

{ Monday, February 20, 2012 }

This photo, shot by London based photographer Tim Walker (top left, below) is one of our all-time favorites. While some may call it mint, others say it's seafoam green or even aqua - either way, we're inspired by this beautiful color.

Website of the Week: Castor & Pollux

{ Thursday, February 09, 2012 }

This week we're admiring the website of New York's Castor & Pollux (www.castorandpolluxstore.com). Founder Kerrilynn moved to New York City from Oregon about 10 years ago to pursue a career in design, and founded Castor & Pollux as a place to represent what she believes design and living are all about: leading exceptionally beautiful and inspired lives. Not only do we like her brand philosophy, but we also really like the way her e-commerce shop functions - the way you shop by clicking through the products as they fade in and out is creative, and something we really haven't seen much of before. Click here to take a quick look and see for yourself!

Jennifer Joanou Letterpress Letterhead

{ Monday, February 06, 2012 }

Last week, we went over to the Aardvark Letterpress in downtown Los Angeles to get our client Jennifer Joanou's letterhead done. It's always exciting to watch the process and see what they can do! Click here to see Aardvark's site and read more about their history.
